International Revival Assembly is a Christ-Centered, Bible-focused Malayalam Pentecostal congregation comprising mainly of immigrant families and students hailing from various parts of Kerala, India.
We all share the same passion for Jesus Christ and work for the common goal – to do His will by witnessing, sharing, worshiping, teaching, and evangelizing.
We follow the doctrinal teaching such as Salvation, Immersion Baptism, Trinity, Lord’s Supper, Work of Holy Spirit, Sanctification, Divine Healing, Eternity, and Final Judgment.
Our desire is for people of all ages and backgrounds to encounter the transforming power of the Living God who loves them unconditionally.
We embrace practical Bible-based teachings to build our lives, families, and church.
OUR STORY
International Revival Assembly (IRA) Church began its journey of faith in the beautiful city of Halifax, Nova Scotia in a living room of an Apartment as a small home gathering on a Sunday in the month of September 2019 of Pastor Victor Varghese Philip; where Pastor Victor, his wife Alby Victor and daughter, Eliana sat down at the feet of the Lord. Two weeks later, God added another family to this fellowship which eventually was a confirmation from the Lord to Pastor Victor and Family to think about starting a spiritual home called Church. It was the coming together of these two families that led to the instituting of the International Revival Assembly. Slowly, God started bringing new souls to this new beginning.
Later, considering the space limitations to accommodate more attendees for the Sunday meeting at home, trusting on the Lord who has called us we have taken the step of faith on Sunday, October 13, 2019, and moved our regular Sunday fellowship to a rental hall at Canada Game Centre. Since then, believers gather regularly every Sunday from 10 AM – 12:30 PM to Praise, Worship, and listen to the Word of God. By the Grace of God, believers receive blessings and deliverance from the Almighty Lord through this fellowship.
Now with the growth of the fellowship and with the onset of the COVID pandemic in March 2020, we had to move out of the Canada Game Centre in order to comply with the social distancing protocol issued by the Nova Scotia Health Authority. After some initial struggles to find a suitable space for the gathering, God miraculously made provisions in finding suitable spaces where all the congregation members could gather together by complying with the Health Authority orders.
We could boldly say that God has been faithful to us ever since we started this fellowship and by God’s guidance, we as a congregation worship the Lord in unity as a family. Even though the numbers were small, to begin with, the Church has grown over time by God’s Grace and our Father in Heaven is still bringing new souls to our fellowship.
Today, IRA is a thriving and vibrant Malayalam-speaking congregation with various folds of ministries such as Sunday School for Children, Youth Meeting, Women’s Fellowship, Outreach Ministry, and many other ministries for all age groups.
